Medical Surveillance in mining refers to the systematic monitoring of workers’ health to detect early signs of occupational illness or exposure-related conditions. It is a key component of occupational health and safety management in bauxite, gold, iron ore, and diamond mining operations, where workers are exposed to dust, noise, chemicals, vibration, and physical strain.
