Crusher chambers are engineered to match the specific hardness, abrasiveness, and fragmentation characteristics of the ore being processed. In cone crushers, the chamber is formed between a mantle and a concave (bowl liner), while in jaw crushers it is shaped between fixed and moving jaw plates.
