Bin Level Sensor
An instrumentation device that measures and monitors the quantity or level of material stored within a bin, hopper, or silo, providing real-time data for process control and inventory management. Bin level sensors use technologies such as ultrasonic, radar, vibrating probe, rotary paddle, or pressure measurement. In mining processing plants, bin level sensors are critical for managing surge capacity, preventing overflow or run-out situations, coordinating feed rates, and optimising equipment utilisation across the processing circuit.
