Beneficiation Circuit
The sequence of interconnected unit operations and equipment designed to process run-of-mine ore and produce a beneficiated product meeting target grade and quality specifications. A beneficiation circuit may include crushing, screening, washing, classification, gravity separation, flotation, magnetic separation, and dewatering stages, depending on ore type and target product. Circuit design balances recovery, product quality, throughput, and operating cost. In iron ore and bauxite operations, circuit configuration is tailored to ore mineralogy and downstream processing or customer requirements.
