Article 198: Obligation for Samples Analysis by the National Laboratory of Geology

Holders of Mining Titles or Authorisations must file, at the National Laboratory of Geology, samples from geological and mining exploration and samples of mineral products for export.

The content and quality of reference are those determined by the National Laboratory of Geology and possibly a third party Laboratory where there is a dispute.

However, with authorisation of the Director of the National Laboratory of Geology, the holder of a Mining Title may, when the Laboratory does not have the required capacity, perform the analyses of samples outside of Guinea. The results of the analyses are then forwarded to the National Laboratory of Geology.

These analyses will relate to both the substance of the granted Title, and all the other elements of the group to which it belongs.
