The holder of a Mining Operation Title, or any other Guinean or foreign investor, is strongly encouraged to establish facilities in the Republic of Guinea for the conditioning, treatment, refining and processing of Mine or Quarry Substances, including the development of metals and alloys, concentrates or primary derivatives of such Mine Substances, in accordance with the regulations in force.
Companies mining crude ore in the Republic of Guinea must supply, as a priority, processing facilities established in the national territory. The terms for individual participation in this supply are set out in an order of the Minister in charge of Mines as advised by the Council of Ministers.
