Article 80: Boundaries and Marking

The boundaries of areas of Titles and Authorisations are established by decimal geographic co-ordinates.

The titleholder’s rights extend to the surface area limited by verticals and extend indefinitely downwards within such area.

The holder of a Mining Title or Authorisation, other than a Staking permit, must demarcate the boundaries of its area in accordance with the implementing regulations of this Code.

The holder is liable for the demarcation costs, and the process must be carried out in collaboration with the Administration and the community and is renewed under the same conditions at the time of any surrender. A Report signed by each party is placed on the file. The implementing regulations of the provisions of this Article will be set out by regulation.
