The provisions of this aw shall apply without prejudice to those covered by specific areas governed, notably, by the OHADA Uniform Acts, the Public Health Code, the Environmental Code, the Water Code, the General Tax Code, the Customs Code, the Registration and Stamp Duty Code, the Labour Code, the Wildlife Code, the Livestock Code, the Code on Private and State-Owned Land, the Forestry Code, the Pastoral Code, the Local Communities Code, the Civil Code, the Criminal Code and all the other Codes, the provisions of which may apply directly or indirectly to Mining Activities provided that they are not contrary to the provisions of this Code.
