permanent Mining operation permit for Quarry Substances has a term of two (2) years, and may be renewed several times for two (2)-year terms under the same conditions as the initial grant.
Temporary Mining operations permit for Quarry Substances has a maximum term of six (6) months and may be renewed only once. However, if further mining operation is justified, the quarry becomes permanent and is then governed by the provisions relating to permanent quarries with effect from the date of its opening.
The Mining operation permit for Quarry Substances specifies the time period during which extraction is authorised, determines the quantity and destination of substances to be extracted, taxes to be paid and the conditions for occupying land required for extraction and related activities.
