A permanent Mining operation permit for Quarry Substances is granted to individuals or legal entities established under Guinean law, by order of the Minister after review of an application including, inter alia, an environmental and social impact study and after the opinion of the competent administrative authorities and local Communities concerned.
The conditions for granting permanent Mining operation permits for Quarry Substances are the same as those applicable to mining Operating Permits.
A temporary Mining operation permit for Quarry Substances is granted by the National Mining Authority on the recommendation of the Divisional Director of Mines.
The evaluation of the application and land survey are the responsibility of the National Mining Authority.
The Technical and Environmental Evaluation and the related opinions are the responsibility of the National Mining Authority in conjunction with the Titles Technical Committee of Titles.
The Minister in charge of Mines is responsible for the decision to approve or deny the Authorisation, its notification and publication, following the opinion of the National Mining Commission, for permanent quarries.
