Article 66: Categories of Quarries

There are three categories of quarries:

1. Permanent quarries: opened on land within the public or private domain.
2. Temporary quarries: opened on a temporary basis on land within the public or private domain.
3. Public quarries: where the extraction of Quarry Substances for construction and public works is open to all.

Permanent and temporary quarries may only be opened further to a Quarry exploration permit and a Mining operation permit for Quarry Substances.
