The holder of an Artisanal operation license is obliged to restore the site of operations covered by its Mining Title. A deposit for the rehabilitation of the operation site is paid by the holder in order to guarantee performance of this obligation, the amount and terms for its collection of which are determined by joint order of the Ministers responsible for Mines, the Environment, and the Budget.
