Apart from the sale and purchase as part of a professional activity, individuals are free to hold and/or possess, distribute and sell gold throughout the national territory.
The trade and export of gold from Artisanal Operation are governed by regulations issued by the Minister n charge of Mines in conjunction with the Central Bank of the Republic of Guinea (BCRG). The terms are set out in the implementing regulations of this Code.
