1. Main Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Pharmacy Coordinator, the Pharmacy Assistant will be responsible for the storage and dispensing of medicines and medical supplies in accordance with physicians’ prescriptions, while ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and national pharmaceutical regulations.
The duties will include:
- Ensuring the monitoring and integrity of the stock under their responsibility, in compliance with pharmaceutical management rules (classification, distribution, health, safety, and hygiene);
- Managing the supply of galenic products, sterilization, and hygiene of tools and instruments;
- Ensuring the restocking of the pharmacy with medicines and medical-surgical materials;
- Managing the pharmacy’s daily operations (dispensing, tracking, and stock management);
- Participating in inventory activities.
2. Candidate Profile
- Holder of a Higher Technician’s Diploma (BTS) in Pharmacy Assistance, Laboratory Science, or State Nursing;
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical field;
- Strong knowledge of generic medicines;
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
- Solid understanding of drug dispensing and pharmaceutical counseling;
- Good knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations in the Republic of Guinea;
- Basic knowledge of medicine stock management;
- Ability to prepare galenic formulations of medicines.
